We have books and technology, so don’t tell me that you can’t do the research. There are people who lived through segregation, Jim Crow and experienced racism, and they can tell you their experience. It’s still happening and I know you see it happening. It’s no longer your parents’ fault either. You chose to continue on that cycle of hatred. I just want to know why.
It’s not easy to fully wipe out. I got away from my parents a few years ago and have been learning a lot and doing my best to grow and do better, but I still find things I assume or mess up. I’d like to think I’m not racist, I’m trying not to be, but it definitely lives in those assumptions you don’t even realise you make. I hope I can wipe all those out too one day.
they’re white supremacists, and it’s likely that one AfD stan that insists that runs defense for them anytime someone mentions how they’re a white supremacist neonazi organization embodying the same sentiment held by the original NSDAP (the Nazi party) in their early rise to power.
Thank you. I’m very thankful for some very patient friends who have stuck with me as I got out and have helped bring me up to speed through some absolutely horrible questions and assumptions. I have the opportunity to know better and do better now, and I’m so grateful for the chance. I wish I never had this shit in my head to begin with, but unfortunately I can’t change that part.
