You know the measles vaccine is 97% effective right? That’s the entire point of a vaccine. If you are vaccinated and around someone with measles, there is an extremely low chance you’ll get it. If you do, it’ll most likely be mild.

Mine? Not at all, but if we want people to get vaccines we have to tell them the right information. Vaccines don’t stop you from contracting a virus. They simply mitigate the symptoms and likelihood of a fatal immune system response from them. #8s post is the most correct post since the infection rate of measles is high and without having a herd immunity from everyone getting the MMR vaccine then everyone will eventually get sick
