Does anyone else not think it’s problematic that we don’t know the name of the billionaire who’s supposedly paying members of our armed forces during the government shutdown?
Like, not knowing who is signing their paychecks is exactly how you get private military companies doing the bidding of random plutocrats.

Enticing people to obey the orders of whoever is signing their paychecks during a time of need is a great way to begin encouraging them to forget their oath to the constitution and the American people and instead instill/reinforce their allegiance to a regime or particular leader.

The people in military are serving their jobs they deserved to get paid… you are downplaying them

Your complaining about it

Yeah, because some random billionaire who remains nameless has no business signing our government’s checks.

So random billionaires shouldn’t be paying their own companies workers too is what your saying

Anonymous#16d
Their own companies = private
The government = public
Do you not have a basic understanding of economics?
