There is a much better chance at Wisconsin governorship staying blue with a moderate middle of the line candidate than a “socialist” far left progressive you guys do realize this right?

How would you know if you don’t ever take a chance and run progressive candidates? I get it you’re a moderate who goes to rallies to shout shit like “better things aren’t possible, I love that my party can’t govern!” But some of us want more out of government than just treating it like a game.

I commented this elsewhere last week, but Mamdani (who I like) winning NYC mayor *really* deluded socialists into thinking they can win general elections in non-deep blue places

It’s not worth the risk of Wisconsin having a MAGA governor like Tom tiffany. Fwiw I think Hong can win if nominated, but it would be a lot more stressful than necessary getting there

Defensive voting literally got us Trump so I feel like that’s a dumb argument. Now if you believe in giving up on trying to improve things & only settling so be it. Honestly I think Crowley & Hong would win in November. Hong made a huge & stupid mistake of running 0 tv ads & had 0 endorsements while Crowley had big endorsements, tv ads & mainstream media on his side. But again I think both ways the Dems would have won Wisconsin although now both ways they will have a bunch of data centers but
