Reagan was our first truly neoliberal president. Both the Republican and Democratic parties are neoliberal parties. Americans call socially progressive neoliberals “liberals”, and socially conservative neoliberals “conservatives”. These terms are needlessly confusing but it’s worth reading about if you’re trying to correct someone. the person above is calling certain establishment dems “fascist” presumably bc they appease the fascists within the Republican Party. idt u were called out.
