Hamas killed people and committed war crimes. Nobody is denying that. What we’re saying is that Israel has done the exact same thing on a larger scale and that can’t be justified

Yes they are both evil. People who deny that are using a tu quoque fallacy. Also I don’t know what people mean by justified. Killing civilians is never justified no matter who does it.

I find it supremely hilarious that OP was like “no one in their right mind would justify Hamas” only for people to climb out of their holes just to be like “no no, I do justify them!”

And I’m gonna say it - what hamas did made sense imagine someone pushing you down constantly but the moment you push back your the one getting in trouble 🤷‍♀️ fuck that.

People are consistently denying that Hamas killed people? Yeah next you should see the people consistently denying that Israel has killed people lmao. In any metric you can come up with, Israel out competes Hamas in terms of evil and cruelty. If you can believe that what Hamas did on a single day justifies what Israel can do from now until the end of time, shouldn’t you also believe that Hamas was justified since the very beginning? Israel has committed atrocities far worse than October 7

Actually the best analogy you could give. Zero tolerance policies at schools punish both parties even if one is being bullied. If my kid was getting suspended because he got beaten by a bully, I’d encourage him to fight back and at least give them a reason to suspend him.

People are just using the exact fallacy I named to prove Hamas is moral. So dumb
