yeah, there’s a lot of talk about people needing to have more kids but i REALLY think we need to take a closer look at the kids we do have 😭😭 something is up

My mom used to be a teacher for 3 years (she quit after last year) at an elementary school and it was really bad. She felt like 75% of her students couldn’t even comprehend what they were supposed to be doing or learning. They were barely even aware of where they were. Only a handful of students she could have actual conversations with and they understood her

We’re seeing a total collapse in our education system because of a lot of societal factors. I don’t think I have all the answers but I know the slow death of the middle class isn’t making it easy to parent

It wasn’t, but things are different now then they were even 5 years ago.

Subbing wasn’t a bad gig. Some days were awful though. I will say no phone laws are probably a good idea but these kids were goblins on the chromebooks.
