We live in a capitalist society I’ve read enough theory to know everyone who knows what they’re talking about has to frame it that way in order to make it viable That’s how u end up with J. Posadas saying that the only way u gonna achieve anything is through total collapse of society and why Marx didn’t want complete abolition of modern capitalism in das capital

you definitely don’t need total collapse of society. that’s doesn’t mean it wouldn’t require radical changes in the government. the way the op’s point comes off is that we’d become socialist only by name and no material change would actually happen, which is a stupid way to think about it

Part of the reason he’s the richest man on earth is because one of his companies trades at a price that is completely detached from reality. The only reason Tesla was profitable last quarter was because they sold renewable energy credits to other companies. SpaceX is another story. They’re actually beating Boeing and other companies for contracts
