You’d think asking for no monopoly on housing would be common sense but I guess not

While it’s definitely contributing to the problem. The simple fact is there is not enough housing in most places.

There is a balance between the ease of new construction, and the regulations required to make it safe. I think we are too heavy in the regulation side for some things. Or at least need to streamline things

Nah fuck that idea. I like having a pool, gym, public grills and a clubhouse. I would willingly pay for that rather then take whatever shitty free soviet bloc style apartment I would get for free
