I love capitalism. If you are intelligent, work hard, and have good people skills - your potential to make money is essentially unlimited.

True in theory, not true in reality

Also contributed to a vast majority of health inequality in the world. While it can foster innovation, it has a tendency to go unchecked which is why socialist aspects need to be infused to create a proper system

It’s all about having high level connections or money in the first place which is mostly about your social status and what you’re born into except for the lucky exceptions

No it is definitely true. You probably are just lacking in one of those areas.

I am quite aware of the history as well. I’m not a communist either, just someone who believes in democracy and fighting against wealth inequality. The Nordic countries seem to do a fair job at balancing the two, even with their flaws

Not saying it shouldn’t. But if you want to be average, don’t complain when somebody works harder and pulls in money that you could never even dream about

You ever considered that maybe that person is just a lot smarter than you? Much more efficient? Or that they worked their ass off for years beforehand to set themselves up so they can now take it a little easier? Stop fucking whining and be better.

Have you ever considered the amount of roadblocks vary wildly between two people with the same work ethic, intellect, and other personality traits? For example: race, sex, sexual orientation, family wealth, etc? Not everyone has the same opportunities as rich white kids.

No! CUASE I HAVENT HAD TO. I’ve trained half these Mfs. They don’t have seniority, a better degree, they got jack shit on me! What they do got is nepotism. If they’re mother, father even uncle is district manager it don’t fucking matter. Have you worked a real job? Have you go outside? Here. Fill this out about 180 times and get back to me when you’re hired and have seen some of this shit before saying something else dumb

I think that’s a bit of an overreaction tbh. Fact of the matter is, this system isn’t perfect, but it’s probably the one system where drastic social mobility is actually possible. Some might inherently have it a little easier than others from the start, but if you are truly special you will make it through.

Seen that on a cat poster did ya. I won’t ever own a home or land less it’s inherited. I won’t pay of my college debt till I’m nearly 60 if not later. I hardly own a used car that is dying on me every time I drive it. And why? It ain’t cause I don’t work hard enough. I don’t make what I’m worth and that ain’t my fault. I could work till my bones have worn away at each other and my nerve endings are gone and I would possibly die without debt. Like the founding fathers intended. Bullshit

The only social change I’ve seen is when that CEO got a bullet in the chest. Ever hear do Dan Price? Now that’s something I’d like to see. The man took a one million dollar pay cut and raised the minimum pay for his employees to 70k and they were able to buy homes, start families just fine. Crazy cause most his critics called it socialist and that he’d go bankrupt soon enough since he wasn’t abusing the working class. Crazy enough he hasn’t

Wait… what? Like I can agree that those countries definitely had their flaws but socialists countries had the best increase from where they started. Mostly (Cambodia was a shit show and pol pot was fucking crazy). the USSR and China went from fuedal/semi fuedal countries to modernized countries within 50-75 years. Cuba went from a dictatorship With high inequality to having universal education and healthcare and almost no homelessness. (DESPITE CRIPPLING embargo’s) I can keep going… but Tex
