Do you guys ever notice that Democrats switch from D —> R every fucking year, but it never happens the other way? It’s almost like Democrats just pretend to care about their constituents instead of actually offering an alternative to the state of play

Could be the party of new ideas / environmentalism… but you appear to be correct OP, it’s stagnant water. Even the radicals run with ideas from 1950 to 1970s (communism or socialism) in a world where tech/AI was not imaginable when those systems were written.

And a hundred years more recently than that, Republicans campaigned against Civil Rights and secured the loyalty of almost every ex-Confederate state for decades to come. Idk why you mfs act like the 1960s party switch never happened. Every time you’re like “the Democrats were Confederates” it’s so stupid, because it falls apart under a few rounds of“Uh-huh, then what?” and “Who does the South vote for now?”

Virginia is the only former Confederate state which is reliably blue in the modern day. And that’s specifically because of the DC Metro Area. Every other ex-Confederate state is reliably red, except for a couple that are purple like North Carolina, but still with more red than blue in that mix. So did the South suddenly give up on racism in 1964, or did the Republicans start courting the votes of racists after the Democrats “betrayed the South” by passing the CRA and VRA of 1964?

Every politician that turnes republican ends up being very corrupt. Especially republican politicians who support trump, they think they’re gonna get a great pay day supporting trump. Not to mention I know a few republicans running for office now with a criminal record history.. with trumping being the line leader!

it was technically the same group of people that would be the republicans nobody knows about the party switch or cares to bring it up bc it invalidates your point. i’m not saying democrats are all good bc they’re definitely not but you have to be educated
