Yeah it’s definitely not going to cost any money to maintain government operations, mail, and financial systems on a landmass of ice that imports almost everything

don’t worry! their plan is to build unregulated “freedom cities” à la Prospera in Honduras, where they can create their own laws and run social experiments. Praxis is a company considering building one of these cities in Greenland, a city meant for the “economically and eugenically select few”. Peter Thiel, founder of Palantir (the company building a mass surveillance network for the US) is one of their backers and donors.

He’s still going to need an address that’s open during business hours so he can be served with lawsuits (from other businesses — he probably will force every person to waive their rights and ability to sue) and those papers have to get there somehow lol
