gotcha. not as familiar with it (most of my engagement with marxism and its descendents is as an analytical framework). in russias case i struggle to square the technological and social developments with the human cost it took to get there. not well versed enough in marxist-leninism to know if there was a flaw in the ideology or just the implementation.
