what they aren’t doing is ostracizing them for simply existing. turns out people tend to not stay where they’re hated, crazy ik

the right lures in lonely young men and radicalizes them to hate women and then that evolves into hating everyone who doesnt look like them

Some people I’ve dealt with have a “men are trash” attitude that annoys me too, but I don’t extrapolate this to political parties Still, for Gen Z guys to break this hard means that R’s must be doing SOMETHING for them? What am I missing - OP

welcoming them and telling them it’s ok to be masculine and to not live life on eggshells to appease the most reactive people in the room

Given what folks like Nick Fuentes had to say after the election, it’s not a far-off one

that you can be a man who wants to be masculine and not feel like a piece of shit/fascist/bigot/whatever buzz words people like to use to describe dudes who are just trying to get by a great disservice has been done to the younger generations and even though the boomers caused it, the right is the one reaching out a hand to say it’ll be alright.

And what part of being “masculine” is deemed as problematic/bigoted lol I’d consider myself “masculine” but have gotten no such allegations. 23 years and counting 🫡

Prolly because u aren’t a bigot. What OP is trying to say (I think) is that the right has adopted this “masculine” philosophy that is nationalistic and male centered. I.e. the old American way with women not working outside of the house, white is the best etc

Let’s hear what OP thinks, maybe there’s a non-bigoted part of masculinity that R’s celebrate?

lol, no. women in the workforce is good and i’d be hard pressed to say the majority of the right wing is pro ethno-nationalism. simply being a man. we grew up with men are trash/evil/the problem. we pick the bear. men shouldn’t be in power. even gay guys don’t get spared. gays/latinos/blacks for trump. that wasn’t bc they’re white supremacists, it’s bc the right is the one place that was like “yeah you’re not a bad person for existing. you aren’t part of a problem you didn’t create”

“Men are trash” is annoying, but it doesn’t annoy me enough to where I’d fill in that bubble for Trump. From what I’ve seen, MAGA just casts these problems on other folks who are also living their lives (immigrants, lgbtq+)

i mean good for you ig? clearly a lot of men didn’t see it so plainly. they saw themselves being persecuted for just existing. for the few that did bad things yet the whole group got labeled. it’s been a slow build up over the last 20 years and the pendulum has only just started swinging back to the right. i pray calmer heads prevail than what the last decade saw bc it’s not gonna be pretty if they don’t. it’s like how our prison system is fucked, if you treat people like wild animals, they’re

Idk if saying it’s only started swinging back to the right is an accurate representation. This started in 2008 when Obama got elected. Maybe it’s because I’m progressive but I truly believe that we are going to see a socialistic movement similar to FDR and Fiorello La Guardia
