Communism genuinely doesn’t have a mechanism to account for or harness human greed except to say “it’s baaad”. Communism works small scale, but when it grows too big self interested actors take advantage of the system to funnel wealth and resources to themselves. In capitalism one of the primary ways to get ahead is to provide a useful and in demand service to society.

Essentially - socialism and communism are too naive to fully work in our society. And if they aren’t naive they kill like 50 million people in the process of trying to achieve their utopia.

Even if I grant your version of history, what does that prove? If a system collapses every time a foreign spy agency sneezes in its direction, how can you argue it’s the inevitable future? History tells us that powerful nations will always interfere. If your system can’t survive that reality, it’s not built to last.

So… you’re a social Darwinist? That’s pretty cringe.

Rejecting a system that routinely fails is common sense, not social darwinism.

The issue is that you’re not analyzing *why* they failed. To grow stronger, you should take what’s failed, recognize the faulty parts, and reworking into something stronger, not rejecting the system entirely.

Is that your attitude towards capitalism?
