The people who speak out against whats happening to Palestinians are discriminated against. There is a group of orthodox jews who lived where Israel is before Israel was established & now live in Israel, who protest the zionist regime. They live in ghettos and get beaten by the Israeli police all the time. I think the issue is an issue with the system. People are afraid to speak up for Palestinian’s human rights, so the hateful voices are the loudest
Just to be totally honest, I just have a hard time believing that there is a strong movement in Israel to support Palestinians like you are saying. What you say might change my perspective if I hadn’t seen so many videos of Israeli citizens openly making light of terrible injustice and violations of human rights. That tells me that it is normalized to a disturbing extent in Israeli society. What you are saying is the opposite which I have seen very little evidence to support
I will look into them but just for the record, I totally agree with you and have never thought that all Israeli civilians are horrible people or something. Thats why I commented what I did. I think a lot about how it is similar to how other people might view the US/how they might think our views align more with our government’s actions than they actually do.
