So concerning how Trump just picks scapegoats (trans people, muslims, immigrants, etc.) and directs people’s anger towards them, and it actually works. Hate crimes have increased in direct correlation to his rhetoric. This is actually so concerning

Yeah it’s sad but unfortunately it’s nothing new. Every fascist/dictator has always had a scapegoat that they’ve used to unite the population

Gotta have someone to blame for their poor decision making in their lives that led them to their sad existence of not being able to afford groceries, gas, medical insurance, a house…must be because of the trans people that “I’m not a millionaire!”

i mean kinda. His administration tries to make it seem like it’s antisemitic to want war crimes against civilians to stop. It waters down the actual meaning of antisemitism and legitimizes actual antisemitism
