If AIPAC hadn't been the perfect example of the worst of money in politics alongside a dreadful foreign entanglement, I sort of get the feeling that another nation would be in Israel's place.

Sure. It goes beyond PACs funneling money into pro-[x issue] candidates. Insider trading, for example, is a very prevalent problem in Congress. But what makes AIPAC uniquely harmful is that they a.) represent a foreign government’s interests and aren’t required to register as such, b.) just spent over $35 million to install a puppet in the place of Massie, and c.) are now openly bragging about their ambitions on Twitter/X as if to flaunt it in the American peoples’ faces that they have influence

I don't say this to try and excuse them either, they're guilty of some horrible shit and are definitely a good example/scapegoat. But I think the real problem lies a lot deeper than just their influence (and I think you probably get that too)

Sure lol I play chess, I watch anime, I enjoy hanging out with friends, I play video games on PC and PS5, I play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, I listen to music, I go down various rabbit holes on YouTube and Wikipedia for the sake of my own curiosity, etc.
