This isn’t a race issue. It’s really not a gun issue. It’s a mental health issue. This guy was a war vet who apparently said he was wronged by the VA. Why aren’t we giving attention, support, and funding to American veterans to help them readjust when they come home from war? We shouldn’t be throwing all this money to other countries and their wars when we can’t take care of our own veterans.
Sure, i think some people use those demographics to capitalize on or confirm their own prejudices. Of course, we have seen violence from any and every demographic so nobody is innocent, but it’s crazy that we feel the need to identify what or who a murderer is before we condemn them, yk? My whole side was just that people should be treated as people in good and bad. It’s tiring seeing people defend or shame literal murderers just bc they check a box or not.
I mean idk I feel like you are kinda doing to white people what you don’t want people to do to LGBT and POC… don’t generalize and have the mindset that all white people are a problem. That is the kind of talk that fuels people to not want to support your cause. Just the same as labeling all trans people as violent just bc of a handful of trans school shooters, generalizing and blaming a whole demographic of people just isn’t the way to get your point across I promise.
