I like a big bore revolver but I'd hardly consider them god's cartridge with how unwieldy a full cylinder reload is.

Eh I'd consider it a difference in creative processes, if Elmer Keith really wanted to make a semiautomatic pistol he probably had the skills required.

Keith for sure could've made a semi if he wanted but he was a man after my own heart and preferred wheelguns
