 I hate when I’m debating someone about a topic and they go “what do YOU suppose we do” and then I have 10 seconds to solve the immigration question or the Israel Palestine conflict or none of the points I said in the first place matter

Well I mean there's kind of a point there. Complaints won't get you far without solutions, but in a lot of cases it's also not realistic to ask for an easy solution

That’s true to an extent but I shouldn’t be asked to solve geopolitical conflicts in less than 10 seconds just to validate my argument in the first place
