There were plenty of abolitionists at the time actually whose perspective you can judge from, and plenty who opposed the camps for Japanese Americans.

Sure and you can celebrate those people for having that standard during that time period. I’m going to celebrate Washington for being pro liberal democracy during a time of aristocracies and monarchies. I’m gonna celebrate fdr for being economically progressive and anti fascist.
