if the bible says being gay is a sin and you follow the bible to a T then you should be executing your neighbors who wear clothes made of different threads combined

Jesus dying for sin ≠ making sin ok. In the sermon on the mount he makes it clear that we are being held to a higher standard. He abolished the ritualistic laws governing that of cleanliness (like wearing mixed fabric) and raised the bar on sins of morality (Jesus makes the claim the anger is “murder of the heart). Old covenant vs new covenant can be kind of confusing.

I believe in the Bible and while it is a sin everyone sins. Jesus died for those sins not for us to be perfect in every single way. So who cares everyone sins in their own ways.

You understand that one thing can be more important than the other right?

it’s not. people who are gay or otherwise have that hardwired into their brain chemistry. stuff like electro shock “therapy” only further traumatizes them. the most sheltered children who never see any of that stuff will still grow up to feel that way.

The Bible doesn’t say being gay is worse or a more important sin than mixing fabrics.

Is mixing threads not a preventable sin? I fear as though I can choose different clothes every morning, but I can’t choose who I love
