Do you know how difficult it is to store energy on that scale? It’s possible to make a battery, it’s just not worth it. There’s constant inefficiencies in the system, windmills not running, etc. this is also why it’s important to have stable nuclear energy to balance out more variable wind and solar

There are already a good amount of wind power systems that use batteries to store power in order to stabilize the electricity supply to account for winds variable nature. I can provide examples if you want. I mostly just wanted to point out that Fox News doesn’t know you can store kinetic energy as electrical. Obviously nuclear is more efficient, but saying we “don’t have the technology” is just inaccurate.
