I have never seen any of the things personally leftists talk about, never experienced them. But many people showed me their experiences and showed me their issues and what caused them and yes it took time but that’s what it takes. This is my problem with modern leftists. You criticize all day and never propose any realistic solutions or candidates to solve any problem.

Again, I have literally converted more maga republicans than I have liberals. The dissonance is staggering. Magas tend towards extreme opinions, so switching them out by actually informing them is easier. Liberals will debate the tiniest itty bittiest detail of Pete Buttigieg’s voting history because I said establishment democrats tend to help republicans in the long run. Magas will say “yeah, that guy sucks. Why do you think that? I thought you were a liberal!”

Ok let me explain something to you. I grew up REPUBLICAN. My family was REPUBLICAN. They voted for trump because he was Republican in 2016. As time has gone on I have watched them devolve into complete maga and I went the other way. This is the case with many people like me. In my experience you just have to push those issues off for a little. If you come in swinging, so will they. Find common ground, find points of agreeance, then once they feel you’re not “an other”, you can begin to pick away at the bigotry. Daryl Davis style really is the way to go w these people.
