I’m very ends justifies the means about this particular thing, if you cite the Bible to promote something I agree with to a Christian base of potential supporters, fine, it’s rhetoric, even if it wouldn’t land with me personally. If you cite the Bible to justify something terrible, then I’m gonna have to say it doesn’t land for both reasons.
