CHS the most pseudo science/stoner science shit ever, nah bro my body doesn’t care if I got 100mg from a joint and half a gram of burnt plant matter or 100mg from a dab rig

Fr but it gets worse. The DSM-5's CHS definition is almost never followed, where thousands of people simply experiencing nausea or occasional vomiting have been diagnosed with CHS despite almost none of them actually experiencing hyperemesis (cyclic, excessive vomiting). Instead of identifying people with real, manifested CHS and identifying key variables beyond cannabis alone, they've confounded the entirety of the syndrome's population data. Almost no doctors question beyond this diagnosis.

Hyperemesis/vomiting is the most severe symptom and the last stage. Cannabis works with your Androgynous cannabinoid system to help produce homeostasis. Excessive irritation and interaction with the system over time can cause severe dysregulation within several very important bodily systems. Some of these earlier symptoms, are often overlooked such as temperature regulation, including excessive sweating, cold sweats, and feeling too cold or too hot. Also symptoms start to go away when you stop 🍃

Additionally, it’s very hard to get this diagnose. It’s only very recently starting to gain advocacy in doctors offices and emergency rooms. Also, the DSM specifically refers to mental health, not physical health and illnesses. This is something we should know at our big age.

Def agree a break should be taken if those symptoms get severe, but wouldn't vomiting itself be the characteristic marker of dysregulation becoming unstable? I feel like dab sweats are just a normal reaction and would feel weird if I didn't get them, especially considering the consistent lack of nausea or emesis.

Cap. Got that shit tossed on my chart by the young coat himself with zero vomiting whatsoever. Even if the DSM-5 'refers to mental health', it is constantly referenced in emergency rooms for non-mental-health emergencies.

True. But if you were having cold sweats because you stoped smoking or haven’t lit up in a few hours then we see the issue starting. This is an early warning sign of nervous system dysregulation.

Yeah that's def a prob at that point. Keeping a 6-12 hr break and stopping an hour before sleep seems to work fine as long as sleep is maintained, but agree that cns dysregulation is still a risk. To each their own but if you're gonna keep a low tolerance it shouldn't be more than once a day.
