I have to take a tbreak because of a potential job and I’ve asked my bf to not get high around me so I don’t get urges. He’s been doing good about not getting high around me but he’ll show up high and when I ask if he is he’ll lie and say he isn’t

Depends if he’s lying to actually lie and deceive you or in a sweet way saying he hasn’t smoked knowing it’s obvious he has just to be sweet about not bringing up weed while ur on a t break

Expecting him to completely change for you overnight is a bit far. I completely understand that it’s a simple ask, and he did stop *getting* high around you; but did you ask him to stop entirely? Do you know why he gets high compared to you? Etc etc

I did ask him if he’d be willing to wait to get high until after we hangout but I understand how hard it is for him. He’s been smoking for almost a decade so I understand that he can’t just stop. I feel bad that I’m able to stop and go on breaks and stuff but he can’t stop

That’s my guess is he’s lying to help me. He’s usually really sweet so I doubt he’s doing it maliciously
