I’ve been smoking since I was 16 (21 now) and I quite literally have not gone more than a day or two without hitting a cart or a joint; any idea what the process of stopping that once I graduate and have to work full time would look like? Sorry that’s a very medical question for a SS employee just curious.
Not quite, both take the form of a wax or an oil like substance. It’s not so much that one is safer than the other as it is preferred smoking experience. As for how a cart is made, the process is a bit lengthy and there are several ways to do it. Take a look at this article that goes a bit more in depth than I can fit into a comment. https://budpop.com/how-are-thca-carts-made/
I’ve personally smoked carts for a very long time. Smoking anything can damage your lungs with prolonged usage. I have not experienced any long term irreversible effects. That being said I’m an otherwise healthy 22 year old, so I don’t know long term usage. If someone solely smokes carts regularly, I’ve seen it lead to temporary “brain fog” or coughing, but that has gone away after a break in my experience.
Ok thanks for your honest answer. I’m also 22 and have been doing the carts for about 3 years now almost nightly, idk if the brain fog affects me or not since I’m sober most of everyday and dealing with a lot of mental issues/stress anyways, I haven’t noticed any affect on my lungs or physical capabilities but def at that point I’m thinking about going solely edibles soon so I’m using less consistently for my mental and for my lungs since I’m at a point I can afford to do all edibles
The short answer is typically yes. THC can be effective in reducing all of those things. In my experience smoking with some form of headache can sometimes help or sometimes make things a bit worse. I would recommend experimenting with a couple different strains to see what might help and what doesn’t.
Short answer yes. THC chemicals do help with nausea and cramps and this is proven. Helps with migraines too. But using too much THC can make nausea worse. The act of smoking and the dehydration from getting high could make your migraine worse. A balanced amount trying to actually help yourself and not just get high off your ass will most likely help you greatly but its different for everyone and possible it makes it temporarily worse
To take a dab using a glass rig, a couple different things will be needed. A torch, a scooping tool for your material (often called a nail), and the rig itself. There are more things you can add to enhance the experience, but those are the basics. First get your desired amount of wax on the tool. Then heat your bucket (or banger) to a temperature of about 350-500° F. Breath out and then pull air through the pipe as you dip the nail into the hot bucket.
I’m not a ss employee but I did recently quit weed for a couple months for surgeries and I’m 20 been smoking similar to u since 15/16 and the best thing that helped me was cutting back the amount I smoke as much as possible then just forcing myself to only do eddies every so often and then just quitting it all for a bit. Was very difficult the first few days without anything I won’t lie but not as hard as I thought fr. Once your body is mostly sober it can be really relaxing
Once I felt like my system was pretty much clean I could feel my mind and body was just in a better place and I felt consistently good with the exception of missing the routine and social aspect of smoking. Honestly it’s not easy but I’m sure you’ll be able to pull through. It can also help finding like a flavored like plastic thing they sell on TikTok to help quitting vaping too. You got this though trust!
