
no you don’t need to directly disclose that you smoke regularly. you do though need to stop smoking for at least the recovery period (1 week~2 weeks) because if you do try smoking while in recovery you could cause dry socket which leads to longer recovery and more pain! so just stick to eddies if you can or just take it as a t-break
yes 100% tell them. they cannot and will not get you in trouble for it even if it’s illegal. anaesthesia is less effective if you smoke so they need to know to get the dose right. you should also take at least a few days off before the surgery. they’ll probably tell you how soon you should stop.
