^ this right here. try to get the 90% isopropyl alcohol over the 70% tho if you can. my bong has three tiers w a percolator in each one so mines def a little harder to get the crud out of, but i’ll normally put some salt in, fill completely w alc, let it soak 24hrs, then shake violently til clean, and finally rinse out w hot water to dissolve any salt and help flush any remaining crud out. i also highly recommend getting a set of rubber plugs for when you gotta shake it, i got mine off temu

also, try out different temps of water lol. i actually prefer warm-hot water in my bong, seems to give real nice smooth hits. i’ve also done super cold water and even ice, which was also very nice
