Fake weed carts can taste peppery due to cheap synthetic terpenes, contaminants, or cutting agents. This causes a harsh, spicy, chemical taste and throat irritation. Strong pepper taste = Stop using it & stay safe.

Exactly why you should only ever buy from licensed dispensaries and request the test results from whatever product you bought

Some black-market carts use cutting agents like vitamin E acetate, pine rosin, or unknown thickeners to dilute THC oil. These can be dangerous when inhaled

Most dealers donโ€™t even know a cart is fake!Black-market carts are often mixed in with legit ones, so they sell both without realizing. This makes it risky, since even โ€œtrustedโ€ sources can have bad carts mixed in.

Yes, some terpenes like ฮฒ-caryophyllene naturally taste peppery. In legit carts, itโ€™s mild and herbal. In fake carts, cheap synthetic or unbalanced terpene mixes make the peppery taste harsh, overpowering, and unpleasant.
