I’m single because I don’t put myself in positions to meet anyone. I’m a homebody to a fault and it’s not like I can meet anyone from my room. Sure, I could try dating apps. But I don’t take many pictures of myself so I’d have nothing to put in my profile

Meeeeee. On top of not taking many pictures I’ve lost over 100lbs so most of the pictures I have are from when I was fat which isn’t obviously what I’m trying to present as now.

this is quite literally me but i’m on an app with the pictures that i think are okay (because i cannot stand how i look in general) and get no likes at all. i’ll get probably 4 a week if that😀 convinced that i’m cooked

I feel like some people are just either naturally photogenic or are more comfortable in front of the camera. I’m just not really comfortable with pictures so I don’t have many of myself.

I can admit when I’m wrong but I stand by what I said initially, the way op presented the information makes them sound lazy. Just take the pictures and use the dating app.

Read my comment where I said I’m not really comfortable with pictures and therefore don’t take any. It’s not that I can’t. It’s that I’d really prefer not to and that presents an obstacle for me to use apps like that.

people often say the best places to meet new people are at work and at school, also at church if you go to church, maybe at a mall, idk

I don’t go to school and I don’t work either. I’m a full-time university student. I guess I could try meeting more people on campus but tbh I only really show up to attend classes before leaving for the day. I don’t just hang around.
