from a female perspective, I think a lot of girls have unrealistic expectations for how a man should treat them. they expect the things you’re doing as a “bare minimum” and think that because you’re not doing more than that, you’re not worth it. don’t ever let a woman take your kindness and attention to detail for granted, there are some of us out there that appreciate the small shit and give the same effort back (myself included).
