My field sucks so back bc I’m literally competing with bored retirees at this fucking point. They retire, their pension isn’t enough and they have nothing to do, so they’re applying for the “easy entry level” jobs that they treat like grandma daycare. And I can’t even be mad. Would I rather hire a college graduate who needs training and expects growth or someone with 40+ years of experience who’s willing to only take 34k a year?

I can’t entirely blame them bc yeah, retirement pension is NOT enough in this economy. But also GET OUTTA HERE SELL FEET PICS OR SOMETHING I NEED A JOB
