You should be owned compensation for that. Like you should be paid anyways and your company can just be in the negatives for a bit

Pretty sure a lot to states have legal penalty for late payment, I’d look into it. In CA it’s $100 per employee the first time and every subsequent time it’s $200 per employee plus a 25% of the late money additionally

I really wish this was the case. Especially since our other manger texted the main one saying he could do payroll (context he’s done this plenty of times in the past). But our main manager never responded FOR DAYS. Their was no reason for this to happen 😭
