Yup. I work at a news station and some poor Walmart employee a few months ago almost didn’t get justice for being psychically beaten over some self checkout BS if we hadn’t pressed Walmart for the security camera footage. They were about to fire the employee over it actually

So they can surveil the shit out of employees and customers in the store to prevent theft but not to protect their workers. Honestly I’m not even surprised
