At what point did we make it socially acceptable to cut your fingernails at work😭

Probably not the scenario ur dealing with but I and others at my job have had to cut our nails because we work with food and a broken/jagged nail rips gloves.

Yeah but do you not have any other time outside of work to cut your nails. Are you that busy outside of work??

Unfortunately nails break/get sharp edges at work all the time because of how much physical activity we do and how much we’re using our hands. We cannot wait another 6 hours to fix them when we’re tearing through gloves left and right. It’s unsanitary lol. My job also has made guys shave their faces in certain scenarios. Every job is different of course but it’s common at mine.

No no I understand that part, I think if there is a case when u have to it’s ok. I’m more the on the side of if you are cutting your nails at work it is not sanitary because nails go everywhere and you clearly do not have enough work.
