Job pays weekly 😁 Haven’t gotten paid for 1st week😀2nd week ends, still no pay🙂3rd pay period starts, yet have no records of a pay stub or any of the hours I’ve worked😐Lead is quitting, so I take over & only have 1 worker to help all night🙁Apply new job😁

also keep as much of a paper trail as possible, save emails, and correspondence about pay, document yourself turning in time sheets, document correspondence with coworkers about them not getting paid either. there’s a limit to how long they can go without paying you for labor your provided (look it up, might vary by state), you want to have plenty of evidence that you followed all the proper steps and were not paid in a legally allowable time frame, and most labor lawyers will take that case

on a “pay for my services if you win” basis because it’s a pretty clear cut case of wage theft at that point. you should also lodge a complaint with your local labor board before taking legal action, even if they don’t do anything it’s more evidence that you exhausted every reasonable measure and they just didn’t pay you
