Try looking to see if you can get a job at Aldi, they let their employees sit while cashiering

Yeah it’s really rough. That was always the worst part of my job. My advice is to invest in nice shoes made for standing in and to frequently find reasons to walk. For some reason walking is less tiring than standing, maybe just because you’re less stiff by the end.
