I worked at the power company and they don’t care what you charge, bring in EV or whatever it just has to be safe (like had to do a form to bring in a heater to my deak and it had to meet criteria like automatically shutting off if knocked over)

Usually they’re less concerned about utility theft and more concerned about fire hazards for the larger ones
