TW: SH This isn’t really a rant but more towards getting advice. Anyways I have some sh scars which I’m pretty good at covering for the most part. Yesterday I kind of snapped at a co worker because I misheard what he said. Pt 1

For more context I’m a delivery driver and we were both taking three orders because of how busy it was. He said “which order do you for there” but for whatever reason I misheard him and thought he said “what you got on your arms there” and kind of snapped and said it’s nothing I’m fine and now I feel like I should apologize to him for somewhat snapping at him but don’t know if I should or not.

The flip out well it wasn’t really flipping out but it was entirely on my side because I misheard him. I’m just unsure if I should apologize cause this coworker has been kind of judgmental towards me although I could entirely be misreading him that’s just how it’s felt the times we’ve talked to each other.

It was also pretty loud at the moment because in my area they have outdoor concerts right outside of the area I work at every Wednesday so that’s probably why I misheard him.

Judgmental or not, you should still apologize. It’s obvious you feel bad for it and your guilt will continue to eat at you. Just apologize and keep your head up cause it’s ok🫶🏾

im sure if you apologize he’ll forgive you and y’all will be able to move on from it. be kind to yourself, we’re all human and it’s a very understandable mistake to make <3
