I can’t believe I’ve been scheduled to handle 10+ patients (pets) by myself every shift for the past couple of months and I always do what’s required but if I miss one tiny thing that the receptionist can fix themselves all of a sudden I’m bad at my job..

Seripusly like it’s not fair fr cuz if they make a mistake like giving the wrong medication it’s excused but God forbid I don’t help check a pet out

Like some days I did reception/ vet tech. One day I cleaned the exam room, checked in a patient took their info scanned rabies certificate and came back to the front to check out a patient apparently a couple w/ a free exam coupon walked out without paying the fees they thought it was completely covered. My manager pulled me in during a one and one meeting and she was like you better get them back here why didn’t you check them out etc BITCH I WAS CLEANING, ANSWERING PHONES WEIGHING PETS ETC
