We changed our billing system recently and it used to take 5 mins to do and now it takes 20 mins and it’s not cause we are struggling with the system, it’s that it requires insane detail and runs super slow and if more than 5 people are trying to release the time sheet at the same time, it crashes

we bill minutes for every single phase of every single project & every different task, i need to get better about doing it everyday but it takes me over an hour 🫩

Oh that fucking sucks. We break it down to 15 min intervals which makes it a little better than what you’re dealing with. Management though is saying how if we have too much trouble with keeping track of what we do, then we can use the timer feature but the timer doesn’t always stay active and it’s a whole problem. They also need to have paragraphs now of what specifically we did. The hilarious thing is, we don’t bill by the hour for most projects, it’s just a flat amount the client has to pay
