Chelsea’s issues were far deeper than the coach it’s the fact you signed about half the planet and then sacked 3 coaches in like a year and a half… once poch got some stability results started to come good toward the end of the season and you guys still got rid of him

Chelsea had an American football roster of starting players that he had to sort through. Most coaches will not succeed with that set up.

Poch’s high pressure off the ball playing style requires players who are quick enough and intelligent enough to press as a collective unit. It also requires players to give a fuck. Last night was a clear example of players who either didn’t give fuck or were not smart enough or quick enough to press the way he wants. They just got passed around because they were 3 seconds behind play and not closing down space. Trying to instill a high work rate play style takes time and player evaluation.
