As a USA fan, Balogun should’ve kept the red card as removing the suspension sets a bad precedent for the rule. But if FIFA continues to allow other sacred cows to break people’s ankles with no consequences then I’m glad the US isn’t being discriminated.

He never should’ve gotten the red in the first place lol yes it was an ugly foul but it was completely unintentional. Not grounds for a red

He never should have gotten it in the first place. It was clear and obvious meddling by the Brazilian referee and he didn’t even follow the proper FIFA protocols when he gave it. Yes, walking it back can set a bad precedence but if there’s a single red card that should be called back it was this one
