Second this! Being a Lexington Sporting Club fan is painful (9th place curse) but damn the USL is an entertaining ass league lol
If you’re okay sacrificing your sanity for entertainment value, watch the USL. Shit is crazy, competition level is low, but you get some great and crazy games every week.

You guys are really good on the women’s side but it always feels like it just doesn’t click with the men. Also, why loan two players to Hartford in the same week?

And yeah Women’s side, I have no complaints, we’re double winners 🏆🏆

And your W League team is also competitive and makes a super helpful pipeline

As a Hartford fan I’m thankful because those guys have been good but from your perspective I’m super confused unless you’re 100% sure you’re bringing in better players or getting MLS loanees and I just don’t see that happening with deadline day this week and no rumors or insight

In my honest opinion, it’s absolute kneejerk reactions from a club that is strapped with cash from owners. They have constantly been promoting themselves as the “Next Premier Club of North America” but haven’t made any real progress in that direction, except for the Women’s team.

Unfortunately I know for a fact that they aren’t making money on their women’s team either. If they’re lucky they’re breaking even

Did you know that the only men’s soccer teams in the US or Canada that have operated in the black each of the past 3 years are Inter Miami and Vermont Green? Nobody else has, and none of the USLC/1 teams have even done it for one year

Still love my team to death but it does pose a questionable future rather than a bright one seeing no uphill trajectory… I do have a lot of hope for Hartford on the other side of things lol! Crowds averaging in the thousands, Playoffs, Trophies (with potentially another otw), that’s a PROPER USL club that I know will kill it when Promo/Rel gets implemented!

I do have inside information that Hartford is in imminent financial danger though… and that’s for a club that looks like they’re doing well rn…

Messi FC doesn’t surprise me but that actually makes me happy seeing Vermont Green become such a massive club after B2B invincible leagues!

I have a lot of interesting experiences with them. They’re a great club. Very hard environment as an away team

Their women’s team was also a few unlucky bounces away from the title
