Could’ve done something cool or unique like a marching band halftime show if they wanted it to be an American thing. Nobody would’ve complained about that

Why are y’all complaining about there being a halftime show? Halftime shows are part of American sports culture and seeing as the US is one of the hosts, it makes sense

i would've loved if we let a marching band go do their halftime show! it wouldn't have taken a lot of time and it would've shown something uniquely american

Exactly. Could’ve even used the military bands or a DCI group for it so that they wouldn’t have to worry any colleges with having to get people ready for it during summer

Or even just have a marching band show up for part of it like the Prince super bowl halftime show

Yeah that’d be pretty peak. Even bigger than marching in the big parades like Macy’s or the Rose parade

dci could've put out two shows and would've been top tier marching, especially if they did like a drum battle

I wish there could be a push to advocate for DCI groups to put on the shows for these major sporting events. It would bring more attention to marching bands plus make the shows more uniquely American. The visuals and music would also be better than most shows nowadays anyway
