It is insane to me that Europeans think teams should just “suck up” unjust red cards. Presumably just because they’ve likely been on the end of a bad call before and they can’t fathom someone else not being screwed over too. Ridiculous

I feel like the unjustness of the red card stopped mattering when the government got involved, government overreach should never be in the sport

I doubt Trump had much to do with it. He just likes being or pretending to be important. I don’t think people would be near as mad if he hadn’t basically claimed to have been responsible for it.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying. He should have just left this situation alone but him involving himself regardless if he actually had an impact or not is what’s going to resonate with everyone instead
