This analysis, is clearly trying to be clever, however, most of the analysis merely quotes the poem. Anonymous 2 could have pointed out that the OP’s poem argues that the betrayal comes from exposing the meaning of the poem, not allowing it the intrigue and mystery it previously had. Anonymous 2 does, however, bring good analysis about the use of the word “betray,” describing that its use “would convey a sense of moral criminality.”

Actually, I think this only applies to the author. If you explain your poem, you deprive others of finding meaning in it. But when readers dissect it, it’s not so much explaining as it is trying to understand it, so not really a betrayal.
